Standby Engine Indicators

Unified range of standby engine indicators IRDX-X

Destination:

Measuring and indication of the main parameters of two aviation engines simultaneously.

Main technical characteristics:

  • Measurement of input electrical signals of each engine from:
    • Two speed sensors;
    • One thermocouple;
    • One parameter from Engine Control Unit in ARINC-429 form.
  • Processing and displaying of 4 parameters of each engine on liquid-crystal display (LCD) in digital form.

Application in the aircrafts:

  • Beriev - 200 (IRD1-1)
  • Tupolev - 334 (IRD2-1)
  • Tupolev - 204 (IRD2-2, IRD2-7)
  • Tupolev - 214 (IRD2-2)

Standby engine indicator IRD1-2

Destination:

Receiving in code form and displaying of the main parameters of two aviation engines simultaneously.

Main technical characteristics:

  • Receiving of code signals by ARINC-429 from electronic modules of each engine;
  • Processing and displaying of the following parameters of each engine on liquid-crystal display (LCD) in digital form:
    • Two rotor speed;
    • Gas temperature behind the turbine;
    • "Degree of pressure increase in compressor" parameter;
  • Processing and displaying of 4 parameters of each engine on liquid-crystal display (LCD) in digital form.

Application in the aircrafts:

  • Beriev - 200 (IRD1-2)

Standby engine indicator IRD3-1

Destination:

Measuring, monitoring and indication of the main parameters of two aviation engines simultaneously on a color liquid crystal display in graphical and digital form.

Main technical characteristics:

  • Reception, measurement and conversion into physical values of signals from 4 speed sensors and 2 temperature sensors of "chromel-alumel" type;
  • Receiving of code signals by ARINC-429 from electronic control units of engine;
  • Tolerance checking of parameters of each engine;
  • Display of parameters of each engine on liquid-crystal display with color identification in digital and graphic form;
  • Output of information in the form of code signals by ARINC-429 to aircraft systems;
  • Power supply from two independent aircraft power supply systems;
  • Built-in monitoring system, which includes checking of engine sensors interacting with indicator.

Application in the aircrafts:

  • Tupolev – 204CM
