UKK1-1 Monitoring and switching unit

Destination:

Automatic monitoring of fire protection for aircraft compartments to provide aircraft systems and crew with the necessary information (including alarm signaling). Monitoring of functionality of aircraft fire protection system elements.

Main technical characteristics:

  • Receiving of 47 discrete signals from fire protection system elements (smoke detectors, fire/overheating alarm electronic unit, fire extinguishers);
  • Processing of input information and generation of emergency and warning signals in ARINC-429 and discrete information for the crew;
  • Monitoring of 20 pyrocartridges, situated in the fire extinguisher heads;
  • Unit size 1K according to GOST 26765.16-87.

UKK2-1 Monitoring and switching unit

Destination:

Automatic monitoring of fire protection for aircraft compartments to provide aircraft systems and crew with the necessary information (including alarm signaling). Monitoring of functionality of aircraft fire protection system elements.

Main technical characteristics:

  • Receiving of 125 discrete signals from fire protection system elements (smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, aircraft systems);
  • Receiving and measuring of analog signals from 6 fire/overheating detectors of M801 type;
  • Processing of input information and forming recommendation and emergency/warning signals in ARINC-429 and discrete information for the crew;
  • Monitoring of 50 pyrocartridges, situated in the fire extinguisher heads;
  • Unit size 2K according to GOST 26765.16-87.

UKK3-1 Monitoring and control unit

Destination:

Control of the aircraft fire protection system (FPS) on МС-21, including automatic fire safety monitoring of aircraft compartments with provision of aircraft systems and crew with necessary information (including alarm) and serviceability monitoring of FPS components.

Main technical characteristics:

  • The unit has two independent channels, including measurement and power supply;
  • Reception and measurement of analog signals from 30 fire/overheating sensors of М801 type installed in the main engine nacelles and APU compartment;
  • Reception of code information CAN from 12 two-channel smoke detectors of М604 type installed in cargo compartments;
  • Reception of up to 60 discrete signals from FPS components (single-channel toilet smoke detectors and fire extinguishers);
  • Logical processing of input information and generation for crew of recommendations and emergency/alarm "Fire", ”Overheat" and "Smoke” signals in the code (ARINC-429) and discrete output information;
  • Monitoring of the state of FPS components (М-801 and М-604 sensors, volume and cartridges of fire extinguishers) with output of code information to maintenance systems by ARINC-624;
  • Unit size 2К as per GOST 26765.16-87 (4MCU ARINC);
  • Unit weight - not more than 4 kg.
